🏖️ Location: Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Center, Oualie Beach
⏰ Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Kick off the event in true Caribbean style! Meet fellow swimmers, race organizers, and volunteers while enjoying music, food, and tropical vibes.

📍Friday, March 28, 2025 – Registration & Check-in
🏖️ Locations: Oualie Beach, Nevis & Spice Mill, St Kitts
⏰ Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
All participants must complete registration before race day to receive their race number and official swim hat.

📍Saturday, March 29, 2025 – Race Day!
⏰ 6:00 AM – Boats depart from St Kitts to Nevis
⏰ 6:30 AM – 7:00 AM – Bag drop opens & closes
⏰ 7:15 AM – Mandatory swimmer briefing at Oualie Beach, Nevis
⏰ 7:30 AM – Race starts!
⏰ 8:30 AM – First swimmers reach St Kitts
⏰ 9:00 AM – Breakfast available for swimmers
⏰ 10:30 AM – Event cut-off time (3-hour limit)
⏰ 11:00 AM – Awards Ceremony

Race Rules & Participation Guidelines

🌊 Who Can Join?

• Open to swimmers aged 14 and over.
• No need to be a member of a club—just a strong swimmer ready for a challenge!

🏊 Swim Gear & Requirements

• Participants must wear an official race swim cap (provided by organizers).
• Tow-floats are required (bring your own or borrow one).
• FINA-approved swimsuits must be worn.
• Wetsuits, flippers, and other swim aids are allowed, but swimmers using them will not be eligible for podium places.

🏁 Swim Course & Safety

• The course runs from Nevis to St Kitts, though it may be reversed depending on weather and sea conditions.
• Support boats will accompany swimmers for safety and assistance.
• The cut-off time is 3 hours—swimmers still in the water after this will be picked up and taken to the finish point.

🚨 Cancellation Policy

• If extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent the race from happening, organizers will attempt to reschedule the swim for the next day.
• No refunds will be issued in case of cancellation or if a swimmer chooses not to participate in the rescheduled event.
